What is WellApps?
Imagine your personal physician was with you 24 hours a day for a month to witness the symptoms of your chronic illness. He/she would be able to keep you feeling well.

WellApps creates this effect virtually, using mobile and online symptom tracking applications. Patients can log their symptoms using our simple apps (WellApps) and participating physicians can see their patients’ data in real-time.

Furthermore, de-identified data can be collected anonymously and shared with researchers to make progress in the treatment of chronic illnesses.

Current WellApps Products:

GI Monitor
Inflammatory Bowel Disease – Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis.

Danielle, from We Are Crohn's - I just got it! This is AWESOME. I have been keeping my CDAI in an excel spreadsheet. No more excel for me!

Kello82 from crohnsforum.com - i love that gi monitor.
very cool, it would come in so handy when you are filling out the mandatory paperwork at the start of every dr appt...symptoms worse, better, pain scale, med changes, etc. I can never remember that stuff

Kyle, from We Are Crohn's - This app is a life saver. I have a crazy life and my can never find time to write down this stuff for my next gi appointment.

Great Job on Site!

It’s an interesting approach. I commonly see unexceptional views on the subject but yours it’s written in a pretty unusual fashion. Surely, I will revisit your website for additional information.

issues with emailed report

I love this app, however, whenever i email the report of my daily symptoms for my doctors to see, it only shows the custom symptoms, I really, REALLY need it to show the daily stool (or all) log, not just the custom symptoms, am I missing something, or does this app not have that function? If you could fix that, this app would be perfect. Thanks so much, anyone with GI issues could use this app, but it would be more user friendly if the daily stool or all log could be emailed in list form, instead of JUST the custom symptoms.

Emailed Report

You can certainly email your reports from your web account. When doing so, you are prompted to select which details of your report you would like to include (daily logs, medications, questions for your doctor). Your basic report will always include a Status Summary and symptom scores from the date range of the report. We will be releasing enhancements to this report soon (stay tuned). If you have any more trouble, please use the "Contact Us" Tab on our site and support will get back to you within 24 hours.

You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I
find this matter to be really something that I think I would never understand.
It seems too complex and extremely broad for me.
I am looking forward for your next post, I'll try to get the hang of it!

Medication fix

I take the same medications twice a day but the dosage differs between morning and night. Can you change the program to allow for differing medications?

Thanks for your suggestion. We will take a look at this immediately and see if we can make a modification for a future release. In the meantime, I would suggest adding a custom medication as a solution. You can call it "medicationname1" or even "medicationnamenight" and use this for the second dosage. In order to add a medication to the list, use the "+" sign in the upper right hand corner of the Medications page.

WIll you be releasing a

WIll you be releasing a version that works with the ipad soon?

re: iPad

GI Monitor currently works on the iPad. We have not developed native graphics yet, so the resolution will be small. But it will work the same. You can also click the 2x (full screen) button in the lower right hand corner to display the app. fullscreen. IMPORTANT NOTE: For the next 2 weeks, you SHOULD NOT use both the iPhone App and the iPad App. We will be issuing another release in 2 weeks to support synchronization across multiple mobile devices (iPhone, iTouch,iPad, BlackBerry). Until then, you should only use one mobile device.

We do plan to create native graphics for the iPad and improve the user experience. Please let me know if you have any more questions.

Isn't the iPad just a big iPhone? I've seen the TV ads, and it looks like an oversized iPhone. Just curious. Thanks
